Booking Policy – Philippine Consulate Dublin

Our Booking Policy

Advanced payment for services is NON – REFUNDABLE & non transferable. Bookings can only be made through our booking system, links are provided below the requirements of each service.

The Philippine Consulate follows the booking policy of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs Passport Booking System (Terms and Conditions):

For Sites utilizing the ePayment System, all fees are non-refundable. Fees shall be forfeited for applicants who fail to show up on their confirmed appointment, applicants who cancel their appointment, applicants whose application was rejected due to inconsistency and/or incorrect information, and applicants who present discrepant and/or spurious documents.”

Further details of the Philippine Consulate Booking System are as follows:

Appointment Time

While we endeavour to have all applicants seen at their appointment times the Consulate does handle emergency cases and from time to time applicants may not be seen at their appointment time and have to wait. Applicants should allow up to two hours for their appointment. The Consulate will also give priority to those with young children, OAP’s, those with special needs. In certain circumstance we may priorities those who have travelled far on public transport and have limited options to return home (i.e. only one train available to get home). Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

Change / Cancel your Appointment

Applicants have the option to review, amend, edit and cancel (with a full refund) their appointment up to 48 hours in advance of their appointment. To do this log into our booking system in the same way you did to make the booking and select the option you wish to avail of. Note if refund is not received within five working days please email info@PhilippineConsulate.ie with details so it can be processed manually.

Unable to attend on Medical Grounds

If you are unable to attend your appointment on medical grounds such as being a close contact of a COVID positive case simply email info@PhilippineConsulate.ie with confirmation of this such as the official notification from the HSE or other evidence of the same. If you prefer you can message the Consulate through the Consulate Facebook page.

Late Arrivals

Applicants who arrive late for their appointment will forfeit their appointment time and will have to wait on standby for a slot between appointments. These applicants will be seen on the day but will have to wait.

Applicants arriving without requirements

Applicants who arrive without the required requirements will forfeit their appointment time and will have to wait on standby for a slot between appointments once they get the requirements. The Consulate staff will assist in printing forms and photocopying identification and other documents however this is subject to their availability. Applicants are encouraged to check the requirements for the service they wish to avail of and ensure they have complied with the full list of requirements. These applicants will be seen on the day but will have to wait.

No Identification

As valid identification is a legal requirement for some services, applicants who arrive with no identification for a service that requires it will be given three options:

1) Get their identification and return on the same day. In this case the applicant will forfeit their appointment time and on their return will have to wait on standby for a slot between appointments. These applicants will be seen on the day but will have to wait. In this case no payment is forfeited.

2) If the applicant has a photocopy/image of their identification they can have their document processed as if valid identification was presented. This documents will not be release until the applicant returns with the identification and it is satisfactorily compared the photocopy/image originally presented. In this case no payment is forfeited.

3) The applicant can rebook a new appointment and forfeit the payment for the original booking. Forfeited fees are used to help Filipino nationals in genuine distress.
