Director of Trade & Business Development 

Darren’s primary role as the Director of Trade and Business Development is to promote the economic interests of the Philippines in Ireland, including analysis of economic developments, encourage trade links between Ireland and the Philippines and to facilitate and support Philippine companies wishing to enter or expand in the Irish market. He will also understand and develop market opportunities for the Philippines in conjunction with the Philippine Department of Trade London and the Philippine Consulate Dublin Director of Marketing and Communications. 

Darren has over his 25+ years professional career supported several Start-ups that are in business today. Darren has successful careers with  Sheridan Developments Ltd, Lambert Smith Hampton, and currently Manor Mills Administration Limited. He also assisted in re-structuring companies during recession of which all are still in business today.  

He worked with Department of Education and Kildare Wicklow Education Training Board (KWETB) in opening an Education facility of 25,000 square feet in a Shopping Centre. The Closing deal was €1.6 million and it is the first Education Campus in a Shopping Centre in Ireland.

Darren has traveled extensively in the Philippine over the last number of years for both business and tourism and has strong business links to the Philippines.
