Philippine Consulate Dublin now accepts bookings for essential Consular services at its office in Dublin. (PLEASE READ THIS POST THOROUGHLY)

– Wear a face mask or face covering. No mask, no entry. 
– If driving, avoid blocking the parking area and residential driveways. 
– Do not bring friends/family in the Consulate Office.

-Legalisation/Notarisation (Red Ribbon) – Price starting at €32.50

The legalisation service is an easy Walk-In service for SPA’s and authentication of documents for use in the Philippines. You do not have to go to a Solicitor and DFA anymore. Consul Garrett will process your document quickly. Bring your document, an original form of identification and €32.50 cash (additional fees apply). 

For legal documents (e.g. affidavits, Special Power of Attorney, Contracts, etc.) executed outside the Philippines to have legal force and effect in the Philippines, these documents require consularisation by the Philippine Consulate. The Consulate acknowledges a legal document that is signed by the executor in the presence of a the Consul. The document is issued with a seal of the Consulate. The Consulate notarizes affidavits signed by affiants in the presence of the Consul. The jurat or notarial attestation is stamped on the document itself. 

-NBI Fingerprint Impressioning (Price €22.50)

An application for NBI clearance is applied for at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in the Philippines. The Consulate will only do the required fingerprinting of the NBI clearance applicant. Fingerprinting Requirements:
• Personal Appearance
• Valid Identification
• Completed Fingerprint Card Form (available at the Consulate)
• One (1) 2” x 2” photo taken within the last six (6) months (On white background) 

-Civil Registry 
Report of Birth, Marriage, Death (Price about €40, depending on postage to UK) 

-General Consultation

-Emergency Travel Document – €22.50

An emergency travel document is only issued to Filipino citizens in and emergency to allow one way travel to the Philippines ONLY. This cannot be used to travel to any other country. The applicant cannot return to Ireland on this emergency travel document and will need to apply for a new Philippine passport in the Philippines.


Philippine Passport services is NOT provided at the Consulate in Dublin. The Philippine Embassy in London which facilitates Passport Renewals and Extensions is temporarily closed until further notice. Please follow their Facebook Page for announcements or their website
